Trailer fire briefly closes the old Albany/300 connection

Crisp County, Ga. (Walb) – The Crisp County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) helps with a vehicle fire on Old Albany/300 Connector near the peanut mill.

On Thursday at 3:09 p.m., the sheriff's office set up on a trailer that had caught fire.

The Sheriff's office informed Walb that a problem with the brake boundary led to a brake wheel that rose the trailer into flames.

The Sheriff's office informed Walb that the road is still closed, but the trail to the north is open for traffic.

The trailer wore a load of watermelons when the brake boundary caused a tire fire. Nobody was injured in the crash.

The trailer was unloaded and the fire was brought under control.

The sheriff's office said the road had now been opened.
