Person who was hospitalized after the fire of the East Main Street

Waterbury – A city dweller was hospitalized on Thursday after a fire in an apartment on East Main Street, an official says.

The deputy, deputy head of Waterbury, John Perugini, said that shipping was called with a person at 2:13 p.m. with a person who was caught in an apartment on the second floor in a building on the 3200 block of the East Main Street.

According to Perugini, several companies reacted to the scene, and firefighters were able to gain access to the apartment and save the occupants. He said the person was brought to Saint Mary's Hospital by the Personal Trinity Ambulance.

The fire was included in the living room of this apartment, Perugini said and added that the house was quite damaged. The fire did not spread to the apartments over or below, he said, but the apartment on the first floor had some water damage.
