First alarm weather day on Friday: strong snow chances, white outs

A rapidly moving clipper system spreads on Friday with moderate to heavy snow in Upper Michigan. Together with snow -capped streets, reduced views and whiteouts are possible, as winds over 35 miles per hour. It is a bitter cold snap when February ends and March starts in Upper Michigan. At the beginning of next week, a warm winter back will follow, with the heights reaching the 40s and returning the messy mix of wet snow, icy rain, snow and rain.
