Doug Ford's PCs will win another majority, CBC News projects,

The Ford campaign manager stands for the choice to call the choice

The CBC Lorenda Reddekopp campaign manager in Lorenda Reddekopp for the early elections in Ontario in the middle of the “unprecedented and unprecedented threat” of tariffs south of the border.

During the entire campaign, the PC leader Doug Ford took a lot of warmth for his decision to call an early choice. There was no second guess from Kory Teneycke, Doug Ford's campaign manager this evening.

“You have seen examples of early voting calls, in which the electorate did not agree to the reasons for going early, and the party punished that decided to go this direction. This time you saw the opposite of it. Instead of walking five or six points in the surveys, we rose five or six points. I think it's an unusual situation in many ways, ”Teneycke told Lorenda Reddekopp from CBC in the party headquarters.

“We were pretty confident that this was the right one. As soon as you call it, it is in the hands of the electorate whether you give you the mandate you are looking for. I think it was the right thing to look for this mandate.

“I think the Prime Minister believed that in his heart and I think that came across.”
