Would the rights of disabled Brevard students be safe without section 504?

Brevard's school authority did not address the public comments immediately. Board member John Thomas was not present at the meeting on Tuesday.

Which rights guarantees section 504?

Section 504 helps to protect the rights of people with disabilities in programs and activities that have received the Ministry of Education from the U.S. Ministry of Education from the U.S. Ministry of Education.

Is a plan of section 504 like an individual educational plan?

504 plans and individual educational plans are both options for disabled students, but not the same. As a rule, IEPs are designed for pupils with disabilities who have an impact on their learning and require specialized lessons, while 504 plans for disabled students are developed, but according to the National Education Association do not require any special education services.
