Air Fryer Pancakes – If ignoring the TikTok trend, make them (after 10 failed recipes)

I will be honest with you … Air Fryer Pancakes was a real work of love to get right. Recipes do not always work in the GH Test kitchen. Sometimes a court attempt and error, and this was one of these times.

'Can everything really be done in the air fryer? Will that ever work? Why do you want to cook fryered fryer in the air for everything in the world anyway?! 'Were all questions that I screamed during the entire process.

But the answers are: “Yes, yes, and because you have invested in this expensive device that takes most of your meter room, you want to use it as often as possible.” In addition, this method means that you do not make every pancake in a row-and it eliminates the dangerous step to turn half-cooked pancakes.

So, that's how we developed the perfect pancake of the Air Fryer …

I went with a classic thick American pancake dough to prevent it from walking over the backgot side and creating a massive mess.

I first tested the viral TIKTOK trend to bake the tablespoon of dough on the baking of parchment and stack it on top of each other and then cook on strong heat. This led to a frozen stack of half -fried gloop, which is certainly disappointed to disappoint that GH Reader.

After testing this method at different temperatures, with different amounts of dough stacked, which led to the same disappointing chaos, I changed tactics.

Instead, I came to the conclusion that it was the way forward to fell the back breakdown and place the tablespoon of the dough side by side.

You can stack more four tablespoons of dough over it (with a layer greased back breakdown in between), so that you make 8 pancakes at the same time, but the lower pancakes are not almost as neat and have a rather dough texture.

To serve the pancakes with air fried bacon seemed to be the right thing to get the best out of the bulky device that takes up most of your worktop … but you can serve these pancakes with everything you want.

Since I went through all these efforts, I have a favor and try it out – please! 🙂
