Pokémon Legends: ZA – release date, starter, everything we know so far

Pokémon Legends: ZA, The second Pokémon game to carry that Legend Moniker was announced in February 2024 Pokémon Presents.

Pokémon Legends: ZA – Setting

Pokémon Legends: ZA takes place in Lumiose City, the central “big” city of the Kalos region of Pokémon X & Y.

In ZA, Lumiose City is part of an urban renovation plan in which the goal is to enable people and Pokémon at the same time. You can see that some of the trailer Pokémon run around the park-like areas, and there are grassy distances and numerous waterpots.

All iconic sights are still there, including the Prism Tower, in which the Lumiose fitness studio lived in X & y.

With regard to the use of the setting, these wild zones will be where they spend a lot of time. These zones look like the digital goals and are where they find and catch Pokémon. Sometimes they recognize Fletchlings down in a street, sometimes Flaaffy grazes on the roofs or squares. It is a funny mix of urban environments.

We do not yet know how the player will divide these environments. Certainly you won't explore the whole city immediately, right …?

Pokémon Legends: ZA – Gameplay

This is a Pokémon game, so not many are surprised in the gameplay department. But This is also a Legends game, which means that the Pokémon formula gives so many new wrinkles.

Legends: ZA uses the same “Catch 'you all” methods from Arceus – you can throw Pokéballs on the' MONS in the wild, and you don't have to include them in the fight. However, you may have to weaken them a little, and there the fight comes into play.

During the fight earlier Pokémon games, including Arceus, is similar, ZA adds some new aspects to the usual round-based battles. Removal and area are of crucial importance when choosing your attacks – rollout will now attack in a line, and you can, for example, avoid the effects. There are other attacks that have an area of ​​activity.

If you deal in Lumiose City, a system is probably used similar to Ride Pokémon from Arceus. We briefly saw in one of the followers in February 2025, in which the player character jumps from a building. We'll probably get more information in the near future, but we can certainly ride gogoat, right?

Other aspects that do not yet have to be confirmed are side quests, the Pokédex, whether research tasks are returning, and other new things that may introduce ZA.

Pokémon Legends: ZA – History

At the moment we don't know much about Legends: ZA, but here is what we know!

Essentially you visit Lumiose City as a tourist. During the city you stay in the Hotel Z, managed by mysterious AZ. And while you stay there, you have to take on tasks to support the renovation of the city.

The urban renovation plan is headed by Quasartico Inc., a mysterious company of Jett, a woman who wants to deepen the bonds between humans and Pokémon.

Pokémon Legends: ZA – Characters

A handful of new and returning characters will appear in this new view of Lumiose City.

First of all, her “rival” – or really her friend who works in the Hotel Z. Depending on which trainer you choose, your friend will be that of another genre – Urbain from you will choose the female look and Taunia when you choose the male.

The owner of Hotel Z is a face that is known to X & Y fans – AZ is back. The more than 3,000 -year -old man still turns nine meters, but he is a determined man and seems to be much firmer than his last appearance. Floette also accompanies him, of course.

Finally, we met the CEO and the administrator of Quasartico Inc. – Jett, a woman who wants people and Pokémon to come together, and Binnie, a secretary who is an extremely faster worker. He also wears some very interesting head pieces.

Pokémon Legends: ZA – New Pokémon

No new Pokémon has been unveiled for Legends: ZA. However, we are pretty sure that we will get new mons in the upcoming Pokémon game.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus introduced us to new Pokémon forms that are known as Hisuian forms. We assume that we will combine a few new additions.

We took a look at what Look Be a new shape of the floette – eternal flower floette. This is Az 'companion, so it may not be a cumbling form, but it is still a new one.

Pokémon Legends: ZA – starter Pokémon

We have our three confirmed starter Pokémon, which she will accompany in Lumiose City during her time.

Pokémon Legends: ZA – returnee Pokémon

We saw how a few returning Pokémon came to Legends: ZA later this year, many of the Kalos region, but others away.

So far we have not been a final list, but we have seen a lot in the three previous trailers, including Litleo, Sandile, Klefki, Flabébé, Hawlucha, Furfrou, Gogoat, Fletchling, Absol, Sylveon, Aegislash, Espur and Magikarp.
