Fire destroys West Toledo at home; Residents and pets safely escape

Toledo, Ohio-a night fire, a house on the Anderson Parkway in West Toledo destroyed. The fire broke out on Thursday shortly after 11:30 p.m. and quickly consumed the residence.

All occupants managed to flee safely before the fire devoured the house home, the battalion boss said on site.

Firefighters saved several animals from the burning house, including a dog, a cat and three kittens. The cat and the kittens received oxygen from the firefighters on site.

Firefighters faced significant challenges in the expiration of the persistent flames, which took a considerable time. The cause of the fire is currently unknown and an investigator was available to determine the origin of the fire.

The house was declared a total loss. The examination of the cause of the fire continues.
