A young adult stuck on a cliff in South California on Monday afternoon and called for a dramatic cliff rescue on a video.

Around 4 p.m. local time on Monday, Noah Kemp was on an Orange County beach when he rose 20 feet up to a hill until he reached a steep dot, where he could not move further, according to Laguna Beach Fire Department administration captain Chip Gilmore.

“He is about 20 feet from the tip with much more down.

The first lifeguards were the first to find the drones to find the situation, said Gilmore. Firefighters communicated with Kemp on the phone and rated drones to evaluate the scene and later found that a helicopter air bridge would be necessary.

The video shared by the Orange County Fire Authority has recorded a rescuer who safely withdrawn Kemp from the cliff on Crescent Bay Beach. No injuries were reported.

USA TODAY turned to Kemp to get a comment.
