Sadhgurus photo with daughter becomes viral with misleading claim

An X user assumed an inappropriate relationship between the two and informed the photo and wrote: “What about this Baba?” (Translated from Hindi)

Newsmeter found that the claim is wrong. The woman is Radhe Jaggi, Sadhguru's daughter.

When we were scanned by Sadhgurus Social Media -Handles, we found the same picture in an X -Post that he had shared on June 17, 2018. The caption said: “A for an hour with my dear father and they tell me that it is #Fathersday.” A picture of Sadhguru with his father was also shared in the post, which pointed out that the woman is his daughter in the photo.

We also found that Sadhguru shared an open picture of him and his daughter on June 16, 2024 on the occasion of Father's Day. The caption was: “On Father's Day you will find some open pictures of Sadhguru with his daughter Radhe.” Another report called Radhe Jaggi was marked in the post that belonged to the woman in the picture. The report described Radhe Jaggi as “Bharatanatyam artist” and contained several photos of Radhe Jaggi and Sadhguru.

During a Google Reverse image search, we found a compilation of pictures and videos by Sadhguru and his daughter in a Facebook post shared on June 16, 2019. The lettering was: “Sadhguru shares a heart -modeling experience with his daughter Radhe on Father's Day! Best father of all time! “

The compilation that started with the viral picture of them shared more moments from childhood to adult life. There was also a video of Sadhguru, which describes his parent style and the moments he spent with her as a child. The last picture in the compilation was a photo of cycling in traditional Indian dance clothes.

We continued to search with relevant keywords and found an article published by Deccan Chronicle on November 26, 2017. The article contained a picture of Radhe Jaggi that appeared on the stage. The report states that Radhe Jaggi, the daughter of Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev, trained in Bharatanatyam in Kalakshitra.

We also found a Facebook post dated August 16, 2020, in which cycling spoke about their family and grew up when they grew through their father's legacy. In a profile of Jagran TV on Radhe it is stated that she is married to one of the leading singers of Indian classical music. After Sadhguru had gone an emergency surgery, the media shared updates about his health of Radhe and described them as his daughter.
