iPhone 17 Pro Max design is just leaked in new renderers

There were a lot of leaks that showed what seems to be refreshed for the iPhone 17 line -up, and they don't seem to stop so quickly.

Leaker Sonny Dickson has just shared additional pictures from CAD files and apparently displayed what the iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Air and the iPhone 17 could look like.

Dickson notes that “everyone share the iPhone 17 CAD” and he offers the one he saw.

It is not surprising that the designs look identical with the others that were published elsewhere, and the redesigned camera bar, which Apple employs this year on the iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

And I'm still not quite sure how I feel about her.

As we have seen in other leaks, the standard iPhone 17 will keep the same vertical camera array as the iPhone 16. While there can be some hidden design changes for the final models, CAD-Renderers cannot show us, this should mean that the iPhone 17 is a familiar device.

The iPhone 17 Air is essentially a brand new device with a brand new design. The CAD renderings were somewhat cumbersome, with a single camera lens and the camera bar that extends the width of the phone.

I am not sure why Apple has to take the whole room for a single lens, but I am sure that there are some reasons. Even if these reasons are just as fundamental as the attempt to clearly distinguish the 17 air from the iPhone 16e – which also has a single camera lens.

Both the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max also have this extended camera bar, although it looks much more unpleasant and bulky.

Apple apparently retains the current triangle camera lens layout instead of reorganizing the cameras via the width of the phone.

This makes the whole look extremely bulky and is very different from the design inspired by Pixel 9, which was originally rumored.

We will not know for sure until Apple actually reveals the iPhone 17 series later this year, but based on everything we have seen lately, these designs are increasingly likely.
