Lizzo announces intimate fan shows, drops 'love in real life' video

Lizzo's funny evening becomes a nightmare in the energetic video for her comeback single “Love in Real Life” (and then fun again). Two years after her last solo single, the singer was back in our ears and in our eyes on Friday (February 28th).

She puts these words in the video staged by Colin Tilley for the song that opens with Lizzo, which sits on a mirror and prepares her make-up, while preparing to meet the dance floor in a pink bust animal and a suitable Feather Boa. Smash cut into the limousine, where she and her girlfriend push down the street in a vintage cadillac and then jump into the club to get a massive dance-off.

With her outfit, which has been converted to a comboy made of leatherbust animal and hot pants, Lizzo is happy to be the center of attention until her starts up and the once friendly dancers become aggressive, things become a bit blurred and the faces around them become zombie. Lizzo escapes the classic Michael Jackson, who is mad when she sprinted out of terror, just to get out of the route when the zombie hordes are observed in order to determine them on the cobblestone streets to set them off for a last shoulder-protecting group.

“Love in Real Life” is the first taste of the singer's coming fifth album, which will be released this summer. “Love in real life” is also Lizzo's first solo single since her “pink” contribution to the 2023 Barbie Soundtrack.

In order to celebrate the publication of the song, Lizzo will play three intimate shows in the Wiltern Theater von Los Angeles on March 12, the New York Irving Plaza on March 16 and the first Ave. by Minneapolis on March 18; Click here to receive information about registration for the shows before selling.
