The Fairfax County police are examining fatal domestic shootout in Chantilly

The police are still examining exactly what happened.

Chantilly, va. – Detective work on experiencing a fatal shooting in a Chantilly house on Friday. According to the Fairfax County police, a woman is dead and a man in custody.

According to a spokesman for the police department, the officials were called in the 13000 block of the Pennypacker Lane at around 7 a.m. in order not to shoot a shootout from the Greenbriar East Elementary School. The officials found a woman shot there. It was declared dead.

The responding officers took a man for the shootout in custody, who described the police as domestic. The investigators have not yet identified the woman killed, the man, or her relationship with each other.

Murder detectives were called to collect evidence and to ask potential witnesses in the neighborhood. The examination remains active and continuous.
