2 killed at Old Dominion University Shooting

Norfolk, va. – Two people were shot in a parking lot at Old Dominion University on Wednesday evening.

The Norfolk police responded to their side reports at 9:40 p.m., 12 on a parking space in front of the Broderick Dining Hall. The victims identified as 18-year-old Delanio Vick and 20-year-old Timothy Williams Jr. were brought to the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where they later died. The victims were not school students.

Garrett Shelton, chief police chief of Odu, said that his team was on site within a minute for calls. An arrangement for accommodation was granted at 10:01 p.m., but was lifted later at 11:43 p.m.

7 College Campus shootings this year

According to data from every inner city for weapon security, this is the seventh shootout, which took place on a college campus this year. Three of these shootings were fatal.

On January 20, a man was killed in a shooting affected by the officer in front of the leisure complex of Eastern Carolina University (ECU). Campus Security previously reported. A worried family member called the police around 4:30 p.m. to report a loved one, was armed with a weapon and threatened to harm himself. When the officials arrived, the man reported that the weapons in the officers raised and asked a GPD officer to fire his service weapon. The man died at the scene.

On February 17th, a person was found for a self -inflicted gunshot wound outside the public security building of the Western Michigan University. This incident was the only shot from College Campus from this year, in which, according to everythown, a gunshot wound itself was inflicted for weapon security.
