Name in the Fatal case River Crash published – KCSR / KBPY

Two men died and a third was injured when they fled the scene during a traffic stop and crashed on the US Highway 18, eight miles east of Oelrichs, SD.

Preliminary information indicates that the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado from 2008 outside the vehicle was a DUI examination during a traffic examination by the Sheriff office of the River County case. The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve in the mile marking 73 and left the street, rolling several times. The driver, Kyle Daniel Cortier, and a passenger, Nolan G. Warrior, were ejected. Cortier suffered fatal injuries while Warrior received serious, non -life -threatening injuries.

A second passenger in the vehicle, Nolan Gage Warrior Jr., also suffered fatal injuries.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol examines the crash. All information published so far is only temporary.
