New game from the 21-year-old PS2 series leak before official unveiling

A new game from a 21-year PS2 series has been leaked before its official unveiling. The PS2 series in question started in 2004, a legendary year in Gaming history. In only 2004, Molochs like GTA San Andreas, Halo 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Half-Life 2, Tony Hawk's Underground 2 and Star Wars: Battlefront all released. These are just the juggernuts and do not contain many other great games, including the beginning of many popular series such as Red Dead, Monster Hunter, Far Cry and Fabel. 2004 was probably the greatest year in Gaming history. It is enough to say that many publications from 2004 flew under the radar.

One of these publications that had flown under the radar of many – which also debuted as a brand new IP – was now known as Bandai Namco. The 86-rate culture classic may have flown under the radar of many, but it has made itself good enough for its investment to create a series. The series has never approached the mainstream, but it was good enough that Bandai Namco stays with it. For this purpose, it actually works on a new publication for the series.

Bandai Namco did not make any official announcements with Katamari Damacy, but it has entered “once a catamari” in both the USA and in Europe. And as Gematsu emphasizes, Bandai Namco is notorious that he leaves his own games through trademarks.

Assuming that a Katamari is a new game in the 21-year-old series that started its start in PS2, it would be the first new game in the series since Touch My Katamari in 2011 as a PlayStation Vita. The new brand does not mention platforms, but this could be a PlayStation -exclusive based on the history of the series.

Bandai Namco has not commented on this new branded. We do not suspect this for various reasons to change, but if this is the case, we will update the story accordingly.
