Fire harms Las Cruces home; No injuries reported

Las Cruces, Nm (KFOX14) – A fire damaged a house without injuries on Thursday evening on Thursday evening in Alamo Street.

The Las Cruces firefighters were sent to the 1300 block of the Alamo Street at 8:20 p.m., where they found flames and smoke that went from the back of a one -story house.

Despite the challenging conditions that disabled their efforts, the firefighters managed to control the fire within about 45 minutes.

A thorough search for the residence confirmed that nobody was inside at the time of the fire. However, the structure suffered significant damage to fire and smoke.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are still being examined.
