Shafaq News/ Morocco announced that Sunday, March 2, the beginning of St. Ramadan will be marked and will deviate from the rest of the Arab world, which was declared on Saturday as the first day of Holy Month.

Saudi -Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Palestine and the Sunni Foundation of Iraq all confirmed that Ramadan would start on Saturday after the crescent moon was seen.

The Morocco's Ministry of Foundations and Islamic Affairs said that after the implementation of moon observations throughout the kingdom, no sightings were reported on Friday in coordination with religious civil servants and military observations. As a result, Sha'ban (the month before Ramadan) will complete his 30-day cycle and delay Ramadan for 1446 Hijri on Sunday.
