Auburns Hugh Freeze Battling Cancer, the university, unveiled

Auburn Tiger's head coach Hugh Freeze was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, as the university announced on Friday.

Due to the early detection, doctors believe that Freeze's cancer is “very treatable and curable,” said the school. The 55-year-old is expected to keep his football coaching plan while performing his tasks during his treatment.

The tigers are scheduled to start spring practice at the end of March.

“An early form of prostate cancer has been diagnosed at Coach Freeze recently,” says the explanation. “Fortunately, it was discovered early and his doctors pointed out that it is very treatable and curable. He will continue his normal coaching tasks and responsibility and with the upcoming proper treatment is expected to recover completely.”

The Auburn officials also shared the hope of Freeze that his health battle is reminiscent of the fact that health demonstrations are subjected to health.

“Coach Freeze is incredibly grateful for our medical specialists and asked that we use his experience as a memory of the importance of prioritization and planning of annual health demonstrations,” the explanation says.

Auburn ended a 6: 6 record of the regular season under Freeze in 2023 before losing the Music City Bowl. In the second season of Freeze, the Tigers did not show much improvement at the top and ended with a 5: 7 record.

Auburn strengthened his squad through the transfer portal this low season, which could help the team to become competitors in the Southeasters Conference 2025.

Freeze previously managed to train with health problems in the past.

In 2019 he suffered a herniated disc in his back and staphylococcal infection. Freeze trained the Liberty Flames football team from a hospital bed that was temporarily moved to the coaching box of the stadium to get the team's game on August 31, 2019 in the team's game.
