The Ministry of Animal Services in San Bernardino spent the last few days to track down 25 dogs after someone had broken into the shelter at the beginning of this week.

“We are shocked by this event,” said Kristine Watson, director of San Bernardino Animal Services. “The security and well -being of the animals in our care have our top priority, and this action has put many of our dogs in danger.”

The slump in the night occurred early Wednesday morning. According to Animal Services employees, the suspicious bolt cutter used to cut the locks several kennels and released the dogs into the city. All of the animals were found and returned to the shelter.

The employees believe that one person has added four of the dogs to a nearby garbage container. The veterinarians of the facility examined the dogs and believe that they are all in good condition. The animals should be available for adoption in the next few days.

The authorities arrested the person for charges that are not related.

The last missing dog is a cream -colored chihuahua called Louise, which is correct and microchip.

“We ask everyone to contact us with information about Louise's whereabouts. Their security is of the greatest importance, and we are confident that someone will recognize them and will help us bring them back,” said Watson.

The Department of Animal Services asked everyone to contact Louise (909) 998-4000.

“There are so many great animals in the shelter that this will inspire the residents of the region to visit our shelter to adopt, promote, report or donate,” said Watson.
