Jackson initially claimed that he discovered the fire when he returned from a Doorash delivery, but the authorities said this was wrong. The deputy State Fire Marshals announced that Jackson made several 911 calls in the region and later admitted to set fire to create a video.

Jackson is exposed to numerous charges, including arson, and is recorded without binding. The authorities examine other potential cases associated with it.

The reigning state fire marshal Jason M. Mowbray reacted to the potential danger that can cause deliberate fires for firefighters:

Brandstift is a serious crime that endangers life and unnecessarily affects our first aiders. I recommend our deputy state fire brigade, which have worked tirelessly in this case.
