Bodycam film material from Fatal Officer Skill

The Department of the Sheriff has published edited BodyCam film material of a traffic stop that was fatal with a deputy, fatal 42-year-old Matthew Huttle by Hobart.

Huttle, who was pardoned by the former President Trump for his role in the US Capitol Riot, was stopped on State Road 14 on January 26th for exceeding speed.

The video initially shows a quiet exchange, whereby Huttle admits that he had no valid license and mentioned his participation in the uprising. When the deputy tells him that because of his crime he has to be taken into custody due to his crime, in panic of his crime as a habitary being taken into custody and attributed to his van.

A fight follows and Huttle says: “I shoot myself.” The deputy steps back and fires several shots.

The Sheriff department made no explanation with the film material, but the special prosecutor Chris Vawter later published his results.

The dashcam film material shows Huttle, which lifts an object while he said: “I shoot myself.” The deputy who believed Huttle presented a fatal threat and shot.

The investigators found a loaded 9 -mm gun and an additional ammunition in the van, near Huttle. Vawter ruled that the use of fatal violence by the deputy was legally justified.
