Rockford woman reacts to Viral Tiktok with two of her grandchildren

Rockford, Ill. (Wifr) – A Tikkok that has been seen almost seven million times since its publication in early February has a local connection.

Patrick Forte informed the video above shortly after the birth of his daughter Avalon. His son Everest, who was just three years old, couldn't be happier to have a little sister.

Patrick and his family live in Boise, Idaho, but in 2014 his mother Jody returned to Rockford. Jody said she couldn't believe it.

Jody Forte expanded interview:

“My son and I sat on the couch and he goes 'Mama, we have a million views of Tiktok' and I'm like 'wait, what?', Said Jody. “I raved my eyes and my daughter -in -law Alex was too.”

From Friday afternoon, the video had more than 6.8 million views, more than a million likes and 11,000 comments.

“None of it was rehearsed. None of it. Everything was real, ”said Jody.

Jody said she couldn't be more grateful if the video gives so many people so much joy.

“Now, when I look at videos, I answer because it has a meaning because it has a meaning for people and the people who are in the video,” said Jody.

Patrick is a veteran and life coach who works with those who have served.
