Lopes Run-Rule Aggies Friday evening

Grand Canyon scored ten unanswered on Friday evening to organize an eleven-winning state of Utah.

Constant production from the top of the line -up and a Jada Cooper Grand Slam catapulted the Lopes via Utah State (11-6) in a 10-2 victory of five inning.

After two infield hits, the GCU went 2-0 in the top of the 1st inn, a victim and a wild pitch and a victim fly that scored the two runs. The Lopes answered in the lower half of the inning when in the second second Baseman Savannah Kirk Second and stolen. She easily achieved on one Makaiya Gomez Rbi single. The doctoral satellite field achieved two more with her at Bat when she went down the right field line as part of the 2nd inn of the eight runs. Gomez had three RBIs in the night.

The 2nd inning comprised eight runs with six goals from the high-performance GCU set-up. After a walk and from Pitch to start the inning, the Lopes tore three consecutive singles from the 1: 3 hits in the line-up. Kirk, who got one of these basic hits, ended the night with three goals, her fourth three hits of the year. Kirk and McCray grabbed both stolen bases in the inning to get into the points for the Gomez single.

Continuation of the Great Ining, Junior First Baseman Emily Gonzalez added a fourth single and a single and Tinley Lucas went to load the bases for the newcomer Jada Cooper. Cooper deviated from the first field in the bat who could have hit and bring a race. Fortunately for the Lopes, she missed her for Ball One and the next field left the stadium. Cooper took over the 1-0 pitch depth to the left field for the Lopes First Grand Slam of the season and gave GCU a lead of 9: 2.

Sophomore starter Maggie Place Went three more inner work and won the victory for her fifth of the season. Place fought to find the zone on Friday evening, especially in comparison to her previous appearances. In accordance with her other pitching performance this season, however, she fought against the damage. Newcomer Oakley Vickers For the first time since February 14th, appeared against Belmont and closed the game with two Inninging goals.

A Mackenzie Nolan Based on the sacrificial fly loaded brought the 10th run for GCU at the bottom of fourth place to position the Lopes for a Run Rules victory.

Grand Canyon returns at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday evening with the games against Yale and Oregon State.
