Sawyer – The mother of a forsyth township lumber Mill employee said that she was not nervous when she learned about breakfast that a fire broke out in business.

Her son, who works in the mill's pension department, sent her to inform her about the fire in the Potlatchdeltic Corporation Mill and let her know that he and his employees were safe, she said.

“I know that the safety of working crews is a priority.” The employee's mother, who wants to remain anonymous, said. “They all evacuated immediately and all held back until the fire brigade could arrive there.”

Several departments reacted to the structural fire, which was reported on Friday morning, including Forsyth Township Fire, Sands Township Fire and Marquette County Search and Rescue 131.

Potlatchdeltic is a wooden producer in the USA and, according to the website of the Business website, has more than 2.1 million morning Timberland in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina.

“I was not (nervous) because they are literally trained on everything, including the procedures that I should take with fire. After all, there is a lot of wood and wood shavings and sawdust. You will be informed whether there is a structural tax to evacuate immediately because a life is more important than the mill. “ The employee's mother said.

The fire chief of Forsyth Township was not available for a comment from Friday afternoon.
