The drivers who can be seen include Lochie Hughes and celebrates its Indy NXT debut after a strong performance in USF Pro 2000 last year and Salvador de Alba, who returns to St. Petersburg with the PowerHouse Andretti Indy NXT Team. Further remarkable entries are Dennis Hauter, James Roe and Andretti Cape teammates Seb Murray and Ricardo Escotto, all of whom want to start with a high note.

The St. Petersburg Circuit is known for its challenging layout with long straights, which lead to heavy brake zones that offer sufficient overtaking. The close right -handed man in curve 1, followed by a fast left, has been many incidents in recent years and gives the race an element of unpredictability.
