On Wednesday (February 26), Major Ralph Woolfolk from the Atlanta Police Department (APD) organized a press conference in which the arrest of seven people announced that were connected to the murders to 13-year-old Jakody Davis and Lamon Freeman.

During the conference, local news agency Channel 2 Action News reported that Woolfolk had subliminal references to the rapper – real name Dominique Jones – that filming that took place during the shooting of his music video in May 2024 led to a gang war and later death of Davis and Freeman.

“Gang violation that was orchestrated by adults. And the cowardly acts of a rapper based in Atlanta who decided to go to a competitor stronghold in a place that he knew that he shouldn't have been, ”said Woolfolk by Advertising board. “This team will work relentlessly to hold them accountable.”

The APD said that they believe that several shootings and murders can be attributed to the music video shoot in northwest of Atlanta. The investigators claim that a detained gang member who opposed Lil Baby gave a goal for the teenagers who use a telephone from prison.

Now the lawyers of Lil Baby Findling have drawn and Marissa Goldberg have described the APD's allegation as “complete and total nonsense” and added that it is “unprofessional, unethical and shameful” to bring his name into the discussion about the murders.

“The part of the press conference on Wednesday by the Atlanta police authority, which made an obvious reference to Dominique Jones, was complete and total nonsense” Advertising board on Friday (February 28th).

She continued: “To say that he couldn't turn a music video in his hometown, a place he loves and further increased is shameful. The place for a large music video shoot is a decision by a professional team and not a decision by a person.

“To bring his name into a conversation about a terrible crime for which he had absolutely no commitment is unprofessional, unethical and shameful. Dominique is destroyed in relation to the situation because these children came from the same quarter as he came, and he will continue to build up his community in any way. “

Nme has contacted the APD to get a comment.

Lil Baby went on Instagram on Thursday (February 27th) to respond and write to the press conference himself: “Thank you for all concerns, please do not let fake messages get wrong,” he wrote. “I'm excessively good.”
