You must now download iOS 18.3.1

Apple gave online that it will be published in April 18.4 and that you could bring your iPhone many new functions such as ambient noise and priority notifications with Apple Intelligence. Before Apple publishes this update, however, you should update immediately to iOS 18.3.1.

Apple released the update on February 10, and the Tech company announced that it would be a problem that could have been actively exploited in an “extremely sophisticated attack”. Therefore, everyone should download the update now.

You can download the update by going Settings> General> Software updatetap Update now and follow the input requests on your screen.

According to Apple's version instructions, iOS 18.3.1 sets up a security problem in which a third-party provider could deactivate the USB-restricted mode on a locked device.

If the USB -restricted mode is activated, the USB mode prevents USB accessories via the Lightning connection with your iPhone if it is blocked for more than an hour. According to NordVPN, this function can help to access your data and block hacking tools that connect to your lightning connection.

Apple said this problem could have been used against certain people. Although you may not be the intended goal, you should now download the update to ensure that you have the greatest protection for you and your data.
