An international team of earthly and life scientists, hydrologists, chemists and physicists has found evidence that the Los Chocoyos superioration took place about 79,500 years ago and that the planet has decades back from its frightening effects.

In her newspaper published in the magazine Communication earth and the environmentThe group describes how they examined ice cup samples from places in Greenland and Antarctica to learn more about the global effects of the old volcanic eruption.

Earlier evidence has shown that a massive eruption in today's volcanic system in Guatemalas came into the atmosphere tens of thousands of years ago. There was so much ashes that led to an ice age. Today the eruption is known as the Los Chocoyos Supererupion.

The research team wanted to learn more about the global effects of the outbreak, so they ventured to Greenland and Antarctica to preserve ice candles, of which they knew they would show atmospheric conditions and in the following years.

When examining the materials in the ice candles, the researchers were able to calculate that the outbreak had occurred about 79,500 years ago – when the ash from the volcano reached the places where the ice candles came. They also found that the eruption had been catastrophic – the amount of emitted ash had caused global changes such as cooling and loss of sunlight. However, they also found that the ashes were free and was able to return the planet in just a few decades to its earlier condition, which was not long enough to start an ice age.

The researchers claim that their work is dramatically changing the understanding of what has happened during and after the tradition of Los Chocoyos, and also in question in question theories that indicate that future Superer -ups start a new ice age and possibly kill the human breed. The team plans to continue their research results in order to examine the effects of other super lovers in the distant past in order to better predict the effects of future events.
