OKC Thunder could end with the best home record in the team history

Oklahoma City was one of the most dominant teams in the league, especially at home.

The thunder has established themselves as a championship candidate and are the difficult favorites to make it from the West and the NBA final. Although the thunder has not achieved the NBA final since 2012, you are ready to have an advantage during your playoff of the Western Conference playoffs.

With a massive lead over the next Closest team, which is in 1st place, feels like a guarantee. Although thunder had the top seed last last season, her home advantage was brought to a different level in 2024-25.

The latest loss of the Thunder at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves After a historical late breakdown, many of them questioned the team's status at the head of the league. While the fate and the darkness of the loss seemed to be urgent, it was only the fourth loss of home of the Thunder of the season to give them a 25:4 mark in the Paycom Center.

The best home record of the Thunder was a 34-7 mark both in 2012-13 and 2013-14. Last season the thunder shortly missed this brand by going 33-8 at home, but this season feels like the team's best chance of breaking this record.

In addition to the Breaking The Best Home Record, which set up the 2012-13 team, the thunder is up to date to destroy the overall record of this team from 60-22. While this Thunder team was dominant on the street, they were almost impossible to beat at home. All of their losses were available for the entire game without Chet Holmgren or Isaiah Hartenstein.

In order for the thunder to set a new record for the best home record, they would have to complete 10-2 or better and need a 9:3 record to bind the existing record. Of the 12 remaining home games of the Thunder, eight will compete against projected playoff teams, while the other four are against teams without making the playoffs.

With some games against potential playoff opponents, the thunder is tested in the last home games, but when you consider how dominant they were all season, they could soon be on the right track to achieve a new brand for the best home record.
