Idaho State Police is looking for information in I-15 murder examinations

The Idaho State Police (ISP) examines a murder after discovering a deceased man with a gunshot wound along the Interstate 15.

According to the ISP, ISP troops near Milepost 85 observed a white Toyota Camry from 2008 on the shoulder with its danger lights at around 10:30 p.m. When they stopped to help, they found the driver, a 31-year-old man from Utah who died of a gunshot wound.

The Bingham County Coroner's Office decided to death as a murder and will release the driver's identity at a later date. The lanes to the north have been temporarily closed overnight to ensure the safety of travelers and responders during the examination, but have been reopened since then.

ISP detectives are looking for the public support. They ask everyone who drove past the Camry noticed that vehicles were stopped nearby, or suspicious activities in the area to contact (208) 239-9850.
