Newark NJ Man has broken into 14 Dunkin 'stores, says prosecutor

A Newark man, who allegedly stole more than $ 18,200 in cash from Dunkin 'restaurants in four counties, stood behind bars on Saturday after handing over to the authorities, officials said.

The 24-year-old Enajam Howman also took gift cards worth $ 140 and, during the five-week break-in of around $ 10,000, caused Vandalism, according to the Bergen district's public prosecutor, who announced his arrest in a declaration.

The crimes occurred between midnight and 4 a.m. from December 13th to January 19, the authorities said.

Bowman supposedly broke 14 shops in Chatham, Edison, East Hanover, Florham Park, Hackensack, Hillsdale, Lodi, Paramus, River Vale and Summit.

The county's prosecutor said he was successful every time – except once. According to the agency, his attempt in a Dunkin 'restaurant in the Kinderkomack Road Road in Emerson was thwarted last night of burglaries.

Bowman entered the shops by dismantling open closed doors and windows, the authorities said. Then he robbed Gelders, Managerbüns and Strongboxes, they said.

The investigation that was based on surveillance material was carried out by the prosecutor and the police in Hackensack and Union Township.

The Task Force for the crime reduction of Bergen County, a group of local detectives who have several jurisdiction, also contributed to the case.

Bowman was arrested and on Tuesday due to 14 cases of a burglary third degree, one degree of a burglary third degree, 12 cases of theft of third degrees, two cases of criminal nonsense third and seven cases charged with a fourth degree criminal.

He is in the prison of Bergen County and is waiting for his first court appearance.
