Quiet start for March and meteorological spring

Parkersburg, W.VA. (WTAP) – Saturday marks both the first day of March and the first day or the meteorological spring! Spring still feels like a fleeting feeling at this point.

Although it does not feel like spring day, the temperatures will slowly appear in the next few days.

On the way to Saturday overnight we get pretty cold. The temperatures fall into the low 20s, some areas could even see the upper teenagers. The winds are also slowed down all night, which leads too little to no wind cooling if the temperatures go to the expected low low tonight.

Tomorrow the temperatures will still stay cold, in the upper 30s heights and partly cloudy sky in the air are much lower, at most about 5 to 10 miles per hour.

In the first full time of March, the temperatures will rise pretty quickly. On Monday the upper will be 40 and mainly sunny sky, during Tuesday at around 60 years.

Our next rainy system is expected to come on Tuesday evening and will be there by Wednesday and Thursday morning. No important problems are currently expected for this storm, but some thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday, and one or two snow flood is possible on Thursday.
