Numerous forest fires burn in Jefferson County and many districts of Alabama

Jefferson County, Ala. –

State and local firefighters were called in Alabama in Alabama in Alabama on Saturday, including several in Jefferson County.

The Alabama Forestry Commission said that fire brigade units were called to three separate forest fires in Jefferson County from 2:30 p.m.

The first fire was reported shortly after 9 a.m. in the Quinton area near the Walker County line.

The AFC said that the fire is at least 30 tomorrow, and forest workers are on site and work on containing this fire.

The second fire was in the Dora region around 2 p.m. and there is no information about the size of this fire.

And a third fire is located in the Pinson area, reported at 2:16 p.m.

None of these fires is included, but no structures were threatened, said the AFC.

Further fires were reported in the counties Talladega, Cullman, St. Clair and Bibb.

A red flag warning remained in many counties in the Central -Alabama region until 6 p.m.
