The cool and windy trend continues when the probability of rain increases

Hello, central coast!

The cooling trend started on Friday and it will remain next week in the coming week.

A trough will extend the west coast later tonight because a low -pressure system west of the state of Washington is positioned.

Cool and cloudy conditions are expected today with a light (less than 20%) chance of isolated rain shower.

There is currently a mixture of stratus along the coast and many medium and high clouds that move across the area.

A few breaks can occur in the cloudiness in some areas this afternoon and evening, but the clouds keep the area cool.

The probability of rain on Sunday will be over 50% shortly after midnight along the central coast, as the next storm system digs south of California.

The cold air mass in the air brings the potential for isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds on Sunday.

However, there is the potential for non-higher thunderstorms in the districts of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara.

Since the cold air mass creates a tight pressure gradient in the region, between Sunday afternoon and Monday will develop in the parts of the area in the parts of the area.
