No. 2 Duke rolls according to Flagida State 100-65 to Flagg's injury fright

Durham, NC -ISAIH Evans scored 19 points and No. 2 Duke overcame Rout Florida State 100-65 on Saturday evening.

Flag exposed itself more than 11 minutes to end the first half and left the gym twice to be rated after it was hit in the face on a hard foul. Flagg was on the pitch in the first 12 minutes of the second half when he collected 12 of his 16 points.

Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach both had 14 points to help Duke (26-3, 17-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) maintain a lead from a game against Clemson in the league classification.

Jamir Watkins had 21 points and Jerry Deng added 12 points for Florida State (16-13, 7-11). The Seminols lost three in a row and four out of five.

Duke led 14-11 when flag had left. The Blue Devils built a lead of 47-30 half.

State of Florida: The Seminols have given up more than 90 points twice this season. Both are in a time of six days after they were drilled by North Carolina on Monday.

Duke: The Blue Devils were without a security guard Tyrese Proctor, who suffered a knee injury in Miami on Tuesday evening. With Flagg Out, they still had enough firepower to extend their leadership and stay unbeaten at home this season.
