Bukayo Saka injury: Progress and potential return date for Arsenal Star

According to manager Mikel Areta, Arsenal will be without Bukayo Saka for “many weeks” after suffering a thigh injury against Crystal Palace.

Just when the Gunners Riccardo Calafiori and Declan Rice brought back, Saka went down with a serious injury. A big blow in view of the team's fitness fights in 2024. Not to mention that Raheem Sterling will also miss the time after getting a knee injury. Arsenal has to rely on her depth to carry her through this time.

Here is how much time Saka will probably miss for the Gunners and who can replace in time.

According to Arteta, Saka will be several weeks after the race of a muscle, probably his knee tendon. Arsenal has not revealed the severity of the tear, but a complete tear can keep the players away for three months. A mild or moderate crack can be three to eight weeks. Regardless of this, the player will miss a considerable time that enters the Carabao Cup semi -final and the KO -Knockout stage of the Champions League.

Areta is positive about the opportunity not only to get the best out of his players, but also to make themselves a better trainer. At Sterling, Areta said he had a knee injury and would also be outside for some time.

A time without Martin Ødegaard would have been difficult enough given the lack of midfield depth, but Areta is really tested for the rest of this season.

Saka is instrumental in how arsenal wants to play. Usually he attracts two defenders when he is on the ball in the attacking third, and is a threat to either cross the ball to the rear post or to beat and shoot his husband. He is second in the league in Assists with 10, one behind Mohamed Salah.

First on the list to replace it far, Gabriel Martinelli would be. Areta could then start Leandro Trossard on the left and Kai Havertz or Gabriel Jesus lead to the line -up. In view of the revival of Jesus, however, he could be tried to give him the beginning on the right.

Jesus played all over the front in Manchester City and was able to insert on the right. When Jesus is back to his best, especially the shape in which the fans saw him when he arrived two seasons for the first time ago, he should consistently go to the right.

Another option is to return to a 4-4-2, with Jesus and Havertz start the top and the two wing players broadly. Both strikers would have the task of dropping deeper and in possession of the midfield.

A point that should not be mentioned: Ødegaard will probably replace Saka, which takes corners from the right. In this campaign, Arsenal's strong suit of Arsenal's suit was a strong suit. Ødegaard has to replicate the productivity of SAKA from there.
