Yale, Harvard and Princeton all broke the previous Ivy League meetings in the 400 Free Relay when Yale and Harvard also ran away with NCAA A. This was the second season “A” of the meeting for Harvard, while it was Yales third, that everyone came in the freestyle relay.

After their close struggle in the 200 Free Relay on the second day, in which Yale and Harvard were the entire race by 0.06 or less separate than both records and pool ripidi were broken, an exciting race was expected here. Yale won with the newcomer quartet Nick Finch (42.92), in the second year Deniel Nankov (42.05), newcomer Jake Wang (42.01) and junior Noah Millard (41.76) Break the Harvard record of the Farris era Harvard by 1.66 seconds.

The opening leg saw six swimmers below 43, led by Princeton's Mitchell Schott In a 42.55. Wang and Millard had the third or second fastest divisions when Yale slowly pulled away from the rest of the field, but behind them was a fantastic fight for the podium. At half -time Harvard, Princeton and Cornell were separated by only three tenths of seconds, with Cornell driving a wave of the floating after her first conference relay since 2007 in the Medley Relay on the 3rd day.
