Austrian woman becomes viral because he offers Lord Ganesha chocolate cake | Deployment

A European woman has become viral in India because he offered Lord Ganesha a traditional Austrian chocolate cake. Gloria Reich Gotthard, who describes itself as “Sanatana Dharmi from Austria”, presented a Sachertort or Austrian chocolate cake as an offer for the Hindu god of happiness and wisdom.

“As an Austrian Sanatana Dharmi, I offer the gods Austrian food. This is Sachertorte (chocolate cake) for Lord Sri Ganesha, ”she wrote about X. In addition to her caption, she shared a photo of a rich chocolate cake, which was placed in front of an idol by Lord Ganesha.

Since the post was shared online a day before, it has collected almost half a million views and a lot of comments from delighted Indians.

“Very nice, your pure intention and dedication is important. Ganesh Ji will be happy to accept what they offer and bless, ”wrote another person.

“In India we offer what is available in our region,” said a user, where to answer Gotthard: “Yes, that's great. I think everyone should offer their best local meal.”

What is Sachertorte?

Sachertorte is a rich Austrian chocolate cake with a layer of apricot jam, which is covered with dark chocolate glaze and traditionally served with whipped cream. It was created in 1832 by Franz Sacher for Prince Metternich in Vienna. Today it is a permanent symbol of Austrian pastry culture.

Over the years, Gotthard has shared several photos of their offerings to gods in their sanctuary at home. Your offer often consisted of pastries, fruits and traditional Austrian desserts.
