Polk County's emergency communication in Tryon, North Carolina, has laid evacuations due to an outstanding brush fire.

According to officials, several fire departments react to an active brush fire.

On Saturday at 2:15 p.m., the officials asked the residents from 2500 to 3910 US 176 Hwy and Meadowlark Drive to evacuate while a brush fire spreads out quickly.

Northeast -Georgia and the Western Carolinas are currently under a red flag until 10 p.m. on Saturday at 10 p.m.

The meteorologist Griffin Hardy said smoke from the fire was seen from satellite images.
