Man shot in Deerfield Beach; One in custody

Deerfield Beach, Fla. – The Broward County Sheriff's Office (BSO) office examines a fatal shootout in Deerfield Beach, in which a man was dead on Saturday evening.

According to the police, the shootout occurred shortly after 7.15 p.m. The MPs and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue reacted to the scene near the 900 block of SW 14TH St. BSO, where they found a man who suffered from a gunshot wound.

Medical offenders transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he died.

The investigators say that another man fled the scene and was fled with the support of the K-9, aviation and titanium units (threat intervention tactic network network).

BSOS crime scene and murder units also reacted to the scene. The police are now examining the motif behind the shootings.

The identity of the victim and the possible suspects still has to be published.
