Doomsday 'Lecks are a good thing

A wild situation developed this week as a current (initially) artist at Marvel published a number of concept images by Avengers: Doomsday and revealed the concept of history and a large number of characters that would appear.

While the fate of this specific artist is currently unknown, an interesting thing happened after this. Disney does not seem to be on a crusade to coordinate these images from the Internet by copyright claims or other means.

I can't say with certainty that this hasn't happened any Example of these photos, I have not yet seen it under dozens and dozens of tweets that they shared, which is more likely to correspond to hundreds or thousands. It seems that one of two things or probably both happen here:

  • This is one of the greatest leaks in MCU history, and Disney realizes that it was probably pointless to track down every instance as a cat. They saw hardcore fans, but the general public that will help this film will help earn a billion dollars is probably not enough to know that they are out there.
  • And/or Disney quickly realized that this was a good thing and that the pictures in the fan base were quite widespread. The concept of a Gno-Kaiser-Scheitel, medieval battle world sounds great, as well as the previous squad of characters that we have seen. So far, this includes: Doom, Doctor (Sheriff) Strange, Sue Storm (as a Doom's wife?), A detained reed Richards from Yelena Belova. Bucky Barnes somewhere in a dungeon. A possibly new Schwarzpanther in Wakanda. Hulk and she-hulk walk over Latveria. Then an independent pictures that showed the Star Lord with a white perspective, Wong and the young Avengers, Kate Bishop, Cassie Lang, Speed, Wiccan and Mrs. Marvel. Most thought that it looked pretty fantastic.

Of course there are reservations where some people were concerned, namely a number of missing large characters such as Scarlet Hexe, Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor and others. But this too is only conceptual art, and who knows who else can appear. Who knows how much of it is actually realized in the film itself.

I am not sure whether I believe that the conspiracy theories that Disney made up for either to generate hype or use the concept as a test balloon that you go in the right direction. But both things have happened, and I think we don't see a mass rehearsal against sharing and publishing them.
