Washington -Columbia Harvard, NYU and seven other universities are visited by the Anti -Semitism -Ask Force of the Ministry of Justice, which has been examined for flashpoints since the beginning of the Israel -Hamas War in October 2023.

The universities were informed by the Trump administration that they “may not have managed to protect Jewish students and faculty members from illegal discrimination,” says an explanation.

The group plans to meet students, law enforcement authorities and community members with the management of the university and to check whether “remedial measures are reported”.

The ten universities include: Columbia University, George Washington University, Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, New York University, Northwestern University, the University of California, Los Angeles, the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Minnesota and the University of Southern California.

The visits come because Propalestinian students organized large demonstrations at universities who protest against the Israel's war in the Gaza Strip. Last year, the New York police authority arrested over 100 students at Columbia University after setting up the camp campus.

The University of California, Irvine, faced a similar incident after Propalestinian demonstrators and the police collapsed, which, according to WJLA TV news, led to the indefinite suspension of five students.

And at the beginning of this week, Propalestinian student demonstrators at the Barnard College in New York stormed an academic building and kept up for hours. A school worker was physically attacked during the incident and taken to the hospital. According to reports, two students were excluded on the same college last week after disturbing a session of the class “History of Modern Israel”.
