The Noblesville fire brigade reacts to fires in residential areas • Current publication

The Noblesville fire brigade replied on February 27 to two residential fires.

Homeowners in 4800 Ashbrook Dr. Discovered a fire when her in-home security system discovered smoke and the communication of the public security of Hamilton County alarmed, which disposed of emergency services.

Firefighters entered the house and extinguished the fire, causing the damage to the kitchen of the homeowner.

The cause of the fire was not released. There were no injuries for homeowners or their pets.

According to Trevor Hash, head of the NFD division, a second fire in Noblesville at 1100 Funny Cide Drive has significant damage. The homeowner contacted 911 after their children had made them aware of the fire.

On arrival, the firefighters bumped out heavy smoke from the residence. The crews found the fire on the second floor and successfully deleted it.

The family evacuated before the rescue workers arrived and no injuries were reported.

“The NFD would like to take this opportunity to remind residents how important it is to work smoke detectors in every house,” said Hash. “With the upcoming change of time, it is now an excellent time to replace the batteries in their smoke detectors to ensure that they work properly.”
