This decision follows the cancellation of the original tests on February 20, after questionnaires reported reported on social media.

Exams that were canceled after alleged paper leaks

The original Hindi examination of class 10, which was carried out on February 18, was canceled after reports had appeared that the question paper had been spread before the exam on social media. Similar allegations were made for the science test held on February 20 with claims that the paper was sold for 350 rupees via WhatsApp groups. Comparisons between the leaked and the actual exams confirmed striking similarities, which led to the rejection of the exams.

In response to this, the Jharkhand police arrested 10 people in connection with the leak and an investigation is underway. The chairman of Jac, n Hansda, ordered a report by the deputy commissioners of Koderma and Giridih within 24 hours.

Revised exam data and student information

The revised test plan confirmed by JAC is available on the official website at Jac.jharkhand.gov.in. Students who prepare for the repetition can check the official portal for further updates. More than 7.84 LAKH students had registered for class 10 exams, which were originally carried out in 2,086 centers across the state.

Class 10 and 12 exams in Jharkhand began on February 11, 2025 under strict security measures to prevent misconduct. The exams of class 12, which started together with class 10 exams, will be completed on March 4. Due to the repeat tests, class 10 exams now extend over the original end date on March 3.
