First alarm weather day for Fat Tuesday published

Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – The WAFB First Alert Weather Team publish a first alarm weather day for fat on Tuesday. A first watchful weather day shows that effective and annoying weather is possible in our viewing area.

Storm threat

The latest storm prospects from the Storm Prediction Center now have a risk of level 3/5 (improved) storm, which extends to the municipalities of Florida and near Baton Rouge. Damiting winds are the biggest problem, but some tornadoes are also possible.

Sturm timing

There are still some model differences in relation to the timing of the storm, but everywhere in the afternoon until Tuesday evening it seems to be in the game for strong to heavy storms.
