Long -term care options and where to start | News

Seniors and people with disabilities can have concerns about a possible health return. It is never too early to discuss with the discussion of nursing options, but many may not know where to start.

The Ombudsman program for long-term care in the eastern Oklahoma Area Agency On Aging serves as a lawyer for residents of long-term care facilities, but can also act as a resource to discuss questions about long-term care. Waiting until it is necessary can limit the time to assess the financial and medical approval requirements and prepare, which can lead to a more stressful situation for those who do not have the application process appropriately.
