Suspect dead

Paulding County, Ga.-Das Georgia Bureau of Investigation has confirmed that it will examine a shootout in Paulding County.

It happened on Sunday in the Column's apartments on the Bill Carruth Parkway in Hiram.

According to officials, the Sheriff office of the Paulding district and the Hiram police asked the GBI to examine the shootout.

Tell Paulding County Sheriff's Office Channel 2 Action News The suspect is dead. The age and identity of the suspect were not released. The Sheriff's office supports the Hiram police.

The authorities did not say what led to the shootout. Officials did not say whether officials were violated.
