Taylor Landing, Texas – firefighters fight a fire in front of the Highway 73 in Taylor Landing, near several houses and the venue in Belle Oaks.

Jefferson County Emergency Services District 4, together with the HAMSHIRE volunteer fire brigade, answered a call about the fire, according to the Sheriff office of the Jefferson County.

The event location in Belle Oaks, an event facility in the affected area, published an explanation of the fire.

“We were informed about the fire, which quickly spreads to Taylor Bayou from the venue,” the explanation said. “We monitor the situation closely and will continue to keep all of our brides and groom up to date.”

The venue said that it was concerned about the potential effects on both its property and the nearby residential buildings.

“Although we are destroyed by the possible damage to our event location, our thoughts and prayers remain with the residents of the communities of Tayoug Bayou/Taylor Cove, since their houses are also close to the fire,” the explanation says.

No information about injuries, the size of the fire or its contamination status was published.
