Warhawks win in the walk-off thriller in additional innings

Monroe, La. – The Ulm Softball team (14-7) continued their winning streak on Sunday afternoon (March 2) and defeated Memphis (10-11) in nine innings, in which the Warhawks have now won 12 in a row, the longest running series for Ulm-Softball since 1997 when the team 22 in a row. This is also the first time that the Warhawks has recorded their moderated tournament since 2022, since Ulm between the Warhawk Invitational and the best at the Bayou tournament remained undefeated this year.

Memphis hit first and counted his first run on a wild field in the top of the first. The Tigers held the lead by achieving a second run in the second. While both teams had opportunities in eighth opportunities, neither scored a goal and brought the game to the ninth.
